Global highlights are a hair coloring method that applies one color of dye to the entire head of hair, roots to ends, creating an overall and even color appearance. It is not like methods such as balayage, in which there is a gradual transitioning of color from one color to another. It's a favored method for having a bold, new look or for covering gray.
